SCUBA DIVING FOR WOMEN

Are you a female scuba diver or a female who would like to learn how to dive? Read on to find out more about why diving is just as accessible for women and to clear up some myths about what has traditionally being thought of as a sport for men. Come on ladies, don’t let the men have all the fun – it’s time to suit up and dive in!

Here at Divenet we have taught literally hundreds of women how to dive and take further development courses, not only that, but we also dive with hundreds of females every year. Diving is definitely no-longer the macho hobby that it was once considered. It’s an enjoyable, relaxing and physically healthy hobby which can be enjoyed by all – regardless of gender. The oceans make up over 70% of our planet and offer some of the most stunning displays of beauty and incredible marine life – especially when you dive in Anilao.

If you are female and thinking about getting into diving, here are some facts about diving which you may not know – and some of the benefits you can enjoy as a PADI certified scuba diver:

Get fit and have fun

You do not need to be Superwoman to learn to dive. Nor do you need to be incredibly strong to carry around the equipment – you will be weightless underwater. Anyone with a reasonable level of fitness can dive. It is also a great way to maintain your fitness and its much lower impact than activities such as running. Anilao offers calm conditions for beginners and you’ll find you are having fun while keeping fit.

Meet new people and make new friends

Diving is a social sport and you’ll be among both men and women from all walks of life. Our phenomenal diving attracts divers from all around the world who all share something in common with you – a passion for the ocean!

Take a look at a new world

Anilao offers you the chance to witness stunning reefs and some of the most diverse marine life on Earth. You’ll see marine creatures up close which most people only ever view on the television. With our expert team of PADI Instructors you’ll be guided through your PADI Open Water Course and make 4 incredible dives in the ocean – beware though, diving in Anilao can be incredibly addictive!

What about single female solo travelers?

If you are a solo traveler, then learning to dive in the Philippines is one of the best things you can do! Not only will you meet people along the way, Anilao is also an incredibly safe destination for those travelling alone, a lot of fun and we’d love to show you our incredible underwater world!
