HERNEL CASTILLO is Divenet’s PADI Course Director and has been in the scuba instructions business since 1989. He is also a PADI Specialty Instructor Trainer for Emergency 1st Response, Enriched Air Night Diver, Drift Diver & Underwater Navigator and a PADI Specialty Instructor for Deep Diver and Search & Recovery Diver.

His love for the outdoors dates back in the early 1980’s where he was actively part of a swimming and Track & Field teams. He also later on became a swim instructor.

His passion in water developed even more when he became a scuba diver eventually became a scuba instructor.

JOY CUBELO-CASTILLO is a PADI IDC Staff Instructor and has been in the scuba instructions business since 1993. She is also a PADI Emergency 1st Response, Drift, Enricher Air & Underwater videography instructor.

Her love for physical activity dates back in the early 1980’s where she was actively part of local & international dance troupes. She also became an an aerobics instructor in the late 1980’s.

Swimming is a regular activity for her since childhood, which made it easy for Joy to enjoy the underwater world and then later on became a full time instructor in 1993.
